One can play the treble clef pieces on bass, of course, because bass is in F, but if one wants to learn or improve playing in bass clef, this isn’t the book to get. Not even a full fingering chart for bass recorder. For alto or sopranino, this book is fine.Pretty good book, especially for those learning on their own. There is good information on technique for a beginner student, so I would recommend this book!Great book for adult beginners. Or musicians looking to double on recorder.Excellent!I have book 1 for soprano and tenor. Very well done. Would recommend it.as with other bass recorder books i've bought a previous knowledge is assumed. my knowledge is long forgotten so how about a book for the bass recorder which teaches from scratch as many of the descant recorder books do..Good for adults young people. Moves along quickly. Contains many musical examples from the baroque
