I bought this recorder because it specifically features the ability to record phone calls.Maybe it can. You need two strokes of luck though. First off your phone handset needs to have a 3.5mm earphone jack. (Mine has a 2.5mm jack so I had to buy an adaptor cable at extra cost.) The second stroke of luck will be guessing how to operate it because the instruction sheet is tiny and then, after you get out your magnifying glass, you find it is gibberish. Also the device menu contains spelling mistakes (e.g. "tarck") and mysterious acronyms that are nowhere explained.This product is further proof that you don't get what you don't pay for. Optimism led me astray again. Silly me.
